What People Say
Most Liked
The standout feature of Burrito Express is its food. Regulars rave about the variety of meat options, guaranteeing a new experience with each visit. The veggie tacos, often a hidden treasure for vegetarians, are bursting with flavors that elicit compliments. Fast service is another highlight, allowing customers to enjoy a quick meal without compromising quality. The friendly atmosphere welcomes all visitors and adds to the pleasant dining experience. And don’t overlook the horchata; it's a fan favorite worth trying! Plus, the prices are competitive, delivering great value that keeps people coming back.
Most Disliked
Despite all the praise, Burrito Express does have a few criticisms. Some reviewers mention the lack of readily available vegetarian options on the menu, which may require prompting staff for special requests. Parking, while mostly free, can become tight during peak hours, making it a minor inconvenience for busy diners. Occasionally, the spice levels might surprise those unaccustomed to authentic flavors—the red salsa packs a punch, which might not suit everyone's palate. These slight drawbacks, however, do not deter the majority from returning for the incredible food and vibrant atmosphere.

Burrito Express may not list vegetarian options front and center, but trust me—they’ve got them, and they’re incredible. As a vegetarian and a foodie, I’m still baffled by how they make their food taste this good. The veggie tacos are like little bites of heaven, packed with flavor and always satisfying. If you’re looking for something quick, delicious, and unexpectedly impressive, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!

This place is one of those hidden gems! I don't usually try new things but they convinced me to get the Goat Taco and it was pretty good!! I like spicy stuff and the red salsa is actually spicy and so good! I think everything they make is authentic too! Try the horchata it's pretty good even though it's pre-made.

Food and service is wonderful here. Don't let the location fool you, this hidden gem makes great authentic Mexican food. Next time I'm in the area this restaurant will be at the top of my list for Mexican foods.

Here me out!! this wasn’t even in the menu and they made it for me, I have been from the east coast to the west, and living in Savannah for over 2 years now and by far this is the best Mexican restaurant I have found so far in Savannah. The service was great had 2 carne asada tacos, 2 Soles, rice and pinto beans for the kiddo and two drinks Mexican coke and Jarritos and we only spend $35!! You can’t beat that price anywhere!! 100% recommended and for sure will be back to this hidden gem!

I can’t believe so much favor can fit in such a small place! It open recently and thou I’ve seen it a couple of times today was the day I decided to give it a try! And I’m not disappointed! The staff is willing to accommodate your taco desires so that you get the taco the way you want it, and with so many options, the sky is the limit. I had a Carne Asada taco with guacamole, hot salsa, cilantro and a grilled jalapeño pepper.... it hit the spot just right. Then I went for the Mexican style lamb, some cilantro, lime juice, salsa, salt.... and you won’t need anything else. My only regret is not having a bigger stomach so that I could try more tacos on my visit. I’m definitely coming back, and if you’d like to have real Mexican taco taste... you should give it a try to! Personal recommendation: eat the tacos on the spot, tacos don’t travel well, and soft tortilla will get soggy. Because these tacos definitely pair with corn soft tortilla.
